Fish for breakfast, anyone?

It was fascinating to see this White-faced heron getting its breakfast. It wasn't easy for both of us. It wasn't easy for the Heron to catch its pray and it was not easy for me to capture the action. At the end, it was a satisfying job, for us both.

The white-faced heron is a common bird throughout most of Australasia, including New Guinea, the islands of Torres Strait, Indonesia, New Zealand, and all but the driest areas of Australia.
